CHLOE BURCHARD

As a young girl in sports, like a lot of us, I quickly noticed a gap in product offerings. I remember my mom telling me, “If you can’t buy it, make it.”

After earning my undergraduate degree in Retail Entrepreneurship and working in merchandising, I was reminded I wanted to do more than work around product I wanted to make it better. I pursued a Master’s in Sports Product Design, graduating with honors and gaining experience across disciplines: designing with and for athletes, speaking at global stages like ISPO and Functional Fabric Fair, winning awards, and building garments from sketch to prototype.

Today, I’m a designer guided by a few core beliefs: that performance and self-expression should go hand in hand. That apparel isn’t just what we wear, it’s a tool for self-discovery, story-telling, and connection with the world around us. And that women deserve more from this industry: better fit, better function, and designs that celebrate us as women and athletes.

I’m always seeking to blend purpose with beauty, knowledge with intuition, and innovation with history, both in design and in life. You can usually find me sketching outerwear, soaking in the small details of nature, digging through the back of a local antique store, reading books about folklore or laughing with friends.
